CPI Care have an exciting opportunity for you to join a brand new supported living service in Ebbw Vale.

We are currently recruiting a team of mental health support workers to support young people aged 16 – 18 years. This service is tailor made to empower the young person with independent living skills. We encourage young people to engage in community activities that meet their interests such as sporting activities, educational opportunities and leisure activities.

We are looking for support workers who are willing to work as part of a team and provide support to young people. As one of our support workers you will be required to promote independence and encourage individuals to realise their own potentials.

Experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided including QCF. All Staff complete QCF Level 2 and 3 in Health and social care.

You will also be given the opportunity to continue training up to a QCF Level 5 in health and social care. Staff attend courses on a regular basis including, Risk Assessment, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, safeguarding, Medication & Administration and more of which is delivered through both in-house and out of house training

  • SUPPORT WORK: 1 year

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £7.59 per hour
